Computer Programming Discussions

Hi all guys, I decided to create this Blog because I think it's a really good way to let people having a better idea about me and my capabilities. I really hope this blog will be usefull to have some direct interaction with people that have interest in discussing topics like Computer Programming, Software Architectures and GIS/GPS, but even with whom would like to have a better understanding of my thoughts and personality.

Lets start with few words about me… I got an Master of Science on Computer Engineering at the State University of Pisa (Italy). I spent more than one year as student-researcher for ISTI Reasearch Institute at CNR (Italian National Research Council) of Pisa (Italy) where I have developed my master thesis: "User Interface services for Second Generation Digital Libraries". Actually I'm working for NATO at the Undersea Research Centre of La Spezia (Italy) involved in the reaserch and development of Remote Sensing and Geospatial data management applications. In this context I had the possibility to join the Open Source communities of GeoAPI, GeoTools and GeoServer. For GeoServer project I developed the WCS (Web Coverage Service) module few months ago, and we have used it here at NATO for many applications and even in several exercitations.
